Chock full of New Zealand hops and described on the can as a fruit salad of taste, this is perhaps my favourite of the Behemoth variety.
True to form the taste is dominated by the mix of New Zealand hops but well balanced by malts allowing for a easy flow without a staggering frontal assault on the taste buds nor an aftertaste that lingers too long.
It’s hard to tell which hops exactly are present but I want to say Nectoron is definitely there, there is a passion-fruit and pineapple taste that savors and invites. At the same time, the accompanying hops provide a backing chorus that provide the finishing hits in the combo.
Would pair perfectly with your atypical kiwi Fish and Chips meal, or even onion dip with chips.
